Get to know your farmer
After a decade in healthcare outside Washington DC, I founded Spirited Roots Farm as my pathway back to what matters most—family, community, and nature. When life called for a change in both scenery and pace, my wife and I packed up our beloved two and four-legged babies and returned to my hometown of Hood River, Oregon.
The Pacific Northwest is truly a gem, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have come full circle—now spending my days with hands in the soil of this special place. This farm has been the ultimate passion project and a constant reminder that we are always growing and learning.
My deepest hope is that Spirited Roots creates a welcoming retreat that nurtures peace and restoration for everyone who visits. I believe deeply that everyone deserves access to green spaces and the healing power of connecting with nature. This family homestead is a place where all are welcome to breathe deeply, slow down, and rediscover the simple joys that growing things can bring to our lives.
I look forward to meeting you, hearing your story, and growing a beautiful community alongside our flowers and fruit.
Until next time,

Whitney
